How to Apply

CSI Scholarship Application Process

  • Complete the Admissions process
  • GPA is not always a deciding factor of scholarship eligibility. Students can apply for scholarships and could be considered for awards regardless of their GPA. However, students should understand that a higher GPA gives them a better chance as the majority of awards require a 3.0 GPA.
  • Student must be enrolled in 6 credits to be eligible for scholarships.
  • Submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by March 1stto be considered for federal aid (required for some scholarships).
  • Submit CSI Scholarships Application by March 1st for priority awarding. (The CSI Scholarship Application is located in MyCSI, click on the Finances tile, click Scholarships tile, then on the links on left for the CSI Scholarship Application.)
    • Incoming freshman and transfer students must submit an in-progress transcript at the time of submittal and a completed transcript prior to July 1st to complete your application.
  • Check out the department/program scholarships for additional scholarship opportunities.
  • Apply for State of Idaho scholarships, if you are an Idaho resident.

Deadlines

Priority Deadline for scholarship application is March 1st. Any applications received after that date will still be considered for 2nd Round Awards depending on available funds. Final Deadline is September 1st

Submitting Transcripts

Incoming freshmen need to submit a seven-semester in-progress transcript and an official graduation/final transcripts. Transfer students need an official final transcript. All transcripts need sent to the Office of the Registrar prior to July 1st to complete the application process. Current CSI students do not need to submit CSI transcript.

Thank-You Notices

It is customary to send scholarship donors a note of thanks for any scholarships you have received. Information for contacting donors will be provided in your award letter and on NetPartner if you receive a scholarship.
