Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to announce that the scholarship program will be continued for 2008. In 2007 we had one winner from Arkansas and one from North Carolina.

Campesinos Unidos Scholarship: Hispanic students who may have one or both parents that are migrant laborers. Application information is available in the Multicultural Student Services Office. CSI Foundation Scholarships: All scholarships are open to students of all ethnic backgrounds. Criteria is generally GPA based, major or area of residency restricted.

Hispanic Heritage Fiesta Pageant: The Hispanic Heritage Committee also sponsors this scholarship. CSI supports this by providing three CSI Presidential scholarships to award the Queen (Reina De La Fiesta), Princesa Primera, and Princesa Segunda. Hispanic Heritage Fiesta: The Hispanic Heritage Committee sponsors this scholarship. CSI supports this scholarship by providing four CSI Presidential Scholarships. Hispanic Scholarship Fund: National scholarships available to students including high school students, science and math students and community college transfer students. Hispanic Youth Symposium: This is sponsored through INEEL. The contact person at CSI is Maria Anderson in the Taylor Business Office. High school counselors encourage Hispanic students to participate. CSI, along with other HE institutions, provide scholarships. CSI offers five CSI Presidential Scholarships and two full tuition scholarships to be awarded. (Seven total Scholarship opportunities are provided by CSI.) Idaho Minority & At Risk: Sponsored by the Idaho Legislature to assist talented students who are at risk of failing to obtain a college education. The award is $3,000 a year and is renewable for up to four years. CSI is allotted a number of awards by the state. The allotment is based on the percentage of Hispanic students attending. Delivered through The Fund's Project Access program, these scholarships target low income and minority populations in an effort to increase access to higher education.
